A prolific bright yellow chilli with a fruity tang reminiscent of pineapples. A Capsicum Baccatum variety from South America, it produces a large plant dripping in fruit and thrives in a Welsh (polytunnel) environment. A moderately hot chilli, growing to approx 5-7cm long, it is great in salsas, marinades and makes a great bright yellow hot sauce.

Botanical name: Capsicum baccatum
Sow seeds 0.5-1 cm deep in 7 cm pots and keep moist and warm (above 21 °C). Transplant to individual containers when seedlings have at least two pairs of leaves. When 10-13 cm, plant 45 cm apart indoors with root ball 1.5 cm below the soil surface.
