A beautifully attractive deep red oak leaf lettuce with a sweet flavour. Begins mottled green and red and will become deeper red in full sun. Harvest as baby leaves, ‘cut and come again’ or as full sized heads. Slow to bolt.

Sow from March to July for harvesting May to October either in trays and then pricking out or straight into modules and then plant out when large enough to handle at spacings of 20cm. Can also be sown direct into warm soil with a fine tilth.
