Sorry, crop failure!  Not available until December 2025.

A popular and very reliable traditional winter squash. This old variety stores well and produces several large fruits on vigorous vines. The fine flesh is sweet and nutty and bright orange. Roasts well.

12 seeds per pack.

Botanical name: Cucurbita Maxima

Squash need warmth to germinate, so best to start them off early in a heated propagator at about 23 degrees C.  Give them lots of light once they emerge, then plant out either undercover or outside after hardening off once the weather’s warmed in a sheltered spot.  Space them 3ft apart, adding lots of organic material.
