A very large black-eyed bean-like pea for drying. Similar to a Norwegian pea that was used by poor fishermen to make a pea porridge. Grows to 2.1m with pretty pink/purple flowers.

Approx. 50 seeds

Botanical name: Pisum sativum

Sow in early spring in modules or direct sow outside. Provide sturdy supports, especially in windy sites. Harvest when pods are dry and papery.
