These reliable and tasty cucumbers are wonderful to grow outdoors in Wales. Neat plants will scramble along the ground or can be grown up a support. You can also grow them in a cold frame or greenhouse. Sweet and crunchy they are best eaten about 8 – 10 cm long. They have small spikes on the skin which simply brush off and the skin is soft and thin so just chop them up and put them in a salad.

Approx. 15 seeds per pack.

Botanical name: Cucumis sativus

Sow in late April or early May in a greenhouse or on a windowsill. Plant out when all danger of frost is over and they have 3 or 4 true leaves. Plant in good soil outdoors and these robust plants will ramble around producing a great crop of cucumbers. Keep harvesting and they will keep producing.
