Matador is an all-year-round true spinach variety with wonderfully flavoured large dark green leaves. Fast growing and well suited to successional sowings for harvests throughout the year. Slow to bolt.

For best results start in seed tray or modules March – September although can be sown direct 2 cm deep. When large enough to handle plant out with 15 cm spacing in rows 30 cm apart. Water well in dry weather to avoid premature bolting. Sow monthly for successional harvests 6 weeks after sowing.
