Wild rocket leaves are darker, narrower and more serrated than those of its more cultivated cousin. They can also be harvested over a longer period and have a more intense, peppery flavour that adds a punchy kick to salads.
Approx. 1000 seeds per pack.
Botanical name: Diplotaxis tenuifolia
Rocket can be sown regularly from April through to September, to give a continuous crop. Sow directly, sprinkling seeds into a shallow drill in a pre-watered, weed free bed, then cover lightly with soil. Although it’s less likely to bolt then garden rocket, it will still prefer a little shade on hot, sunny days and to be kept moist.
