Peni Ediker

Peni cultivates a thriving Market Garden and orchard from her One Planet Development smallholding in Carmarthenshire, where she and her partner are self sufficient in fruit and vegetables. Peni is a commercial seed producer  for Wales Seed Hub and The Real Seed Catalogue, helping to preserve and promote resilient, open-pollinated varieties for local growers. Her success is rooted in a deep understanding of soil microbiology and her innovative use of biochar, inoculated composts, and biofertilisers. She has successfully trialled these regenerative methods on a larger farm scale with excellent results. A passionate educator, she regularly teaches courses in permaculture, sustainable horticulture, and biofertliser production and biochar, inspiring others to grow in harmony with nature.
