A beautiful herbaceous perennial, this mint is loved by pollinators. Its tall spikes of eye-catching purple flowers can grow to 1m in height and the bright green leaves make sweet, fragrant addition to salads or herbal teas.

Botanical name: Agastache rugosa
Sow in a prepared seed-bed outdoors in late spring, or earlier in modules undercover. Can be a little slow to germinate. Transplant out after the last frost into free-draining soil, and keep moist throughout the season. Once established, clumps can be divided every few years.
