A Japanese bunching salad onion that grows really well in a UK climate – vigorous and high yielding with a mild onion flavour. Long white stalks and long green foliage. Bunching onions are perennial so can either be grown as an annual or simply divide the clump to multiply your onion patch.

Approx. 150 seeds

Botanical name: Allium fistulosum

Sow in August or early September for harvesting from November through until March. Can also be sown March and April for a summer/autumn harvest. Sow direct in rows 15cm apart or in modules with ~10 seeds in each module and then transplant at 15cm spacings.
