The French Bean that is like a pea! Beautiful ‘yin yang’ colouring on the seeds. 

This is a climbing bean with pale yellow/white flowers. The Pea Bean produces flat pods of unusual pea shaped beans that are purple and cream coloured, fantastic nutty flavour when cooked, use beans fresh or dried in soups and stews.

Approx. 60 seeds per pack.

Botanical name: Phaseolus vulgaris

Sow April to June for harvesting July – September depending on conditions. Can be sown direct in warmer soil in late spring – 2 seeds per cane, 30 cm apart. For best results start in modules to be planted out at the same spacing when about 10 cm tall.
